I love giving back. It's one of my most favorite things to do!
As a business owner, I wanted my business to be a force for good and give back to the amazing people of my community. So anytime I am asked for a silent auction donation or raffle items for local schools and charities, I am on it!
One of my favorite organizations is St. Anthony of Padua School in The Woodlands, Texas. Every year they host their largest charity gala to support their K-8 private school and each year Couch Adventures Photography donates family session.
Through these sessions, we have met the kindest and loving families! In 2019, we met the Naeher family who requested a family session at their home in Magnolia, Texas. We met at their home for a pre-session consultation to discuss location, clothing, prints and wall art. At the pre-consultation we walked their property and found this amazing fence area behind their house. They also wanted pictures in the front of their house, too.
In 2020 even though we were shut down, the gala silent auction was still held online and was able to raise money to support the school. This year the wonderful DuFrene family won the winning bid for a family session and call the studio as soon as the stay-at-home order was lifted. We schedule their pre-session consultation via Zoom and discussed locations in and around The Woodlands, what to wear, and dates. They chose WG Jones State Forest for their location because of the tall pines and location.
