For the Class of 2020, this year has been one to remember. Not for the final farewells or the milestones made with classmates like typical years. No, this was the year that started to unravel starting in March when the world started to shut down and senior milestone moments and final farewells started to get postponed and cancelled. Where graduation was done via car parade or on a football field with 6 feet between each senior. No last games for spring sports or capstone celebrations for academic achievements.
As stay at home orders were put into effect and schools raced to institute distance learning, our sweet seniors realized that they will not have a normal senior experience. And as the world quickly closed down, those special senior milestones quickly became a victim to COVID-19.
But not for Evie. Once the stay-at-home orders were lifted her dad, Adam, contacted Couch Adventures Photography about a special day he had planned for his daughter, a senior at Cy-Fair High School. She had the dress and shoes and he wanted to take her for a night out to celebrate the Prom she didn't get.
We met at a hidden little gem in Cypress, Texas that has a miniature replica of The Alamo, ornate column buildings, a small western town, a chapel, and more! Cy-Hope was the perfect destination to celebrate Evie's big day. Dad showed up in a suit and Evie and her mom met us there.

A short walk away is the replica of the world famous Alamo Mission in San Antonio. This location was completely empty and is breath taking beautiful. We started with a few in Evie's prom dress and quickly changed into something more weather friendly.
And, of course, since graduation is uncertain...
